Master Closet Lights

Original flourescent fixtures (off).
We have been on a slow, but steady quest to rid our house of fluorescent light fixtures. First to go were many in the garage, then the two in master bathroom, then another in the secondary bathroom. We now come to the final project that will once and for all rid us of these despicable devices. The two holdouts were in our master bedroom closet.
Demolition
Old light ceiling box.
Supporting second fixture for removal.
I used a support pole as I undid the screws since I had no assistant for this project. Not too unsurprisingly, I found that prior to these fluorescent lights, there was some other lighting with traditional ceiling boxes.
Although I could have installed these particular lights without going into the attic, it was much easier to do a cleaner and easier wiring job by getting up in the attic.
